Q: What brands are offered and what models are available? With each model, what type of suspensions and colors can I choose from?
A: MSA: V-Gard series hard hat which comes in both cap and full brim models.
Suspensions (4-point):

Staz-On is a pin lock system which is similar to a baseball hat.

1-Touch system is a sliding mechanism that can be operated with just one hand. Easy system for quick adjustments to fit your comfort level.

Fas-Trac is MSA’s version of the ratchet suspension. A simple turn of the twist knob and you can easily adjust to your comfort setting. You can adjust without taking off you hard hat.

Colors: White, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, Grey, Light Pink, Hi-Viz Lime Green, Hi-Viz Yellow-Green, Hi-Viz Orange, Gold, Dark Blue, Robins Egg Blue, Brown, Silver,Tan, Black, Purple, and Light Buff.

Pyramex: Basic line hard hat which comes in both cap and full brim models.
Suspensions (4-point):

Snap-Lock system (Cap only) is a pin lock system which is similar to a baseball hat.

Ratchet system (Cap & Full Brim) offers quick and easy adjusting with the simple twist of the turn knob. Comfort settings can be set without taking off you hard hat.

Colors: White, Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, Hi-Viz Orange, Blue, Black, Grey.

Fibre-Metal: SUPEREIGHT Model hard hat in both cap and full brim models.
Suspensions (8-point):

Ratchet system is the only suspension offered by Fibre-Metal. Easy and quick plus with a simple twist of the knob you can make adjustments with the hard hat still on your head.

Colors: White, Yellow, Orange, Grey, Tan, Black, Gold, Magenta, Red, Hi-Viz Yellow, Hi-Viz Orange, Light Pink, Dark Brown, Green, Blue, Dark Blue, Light Green, Silver, Steel Blue, Light Grey, and Dark Yellow.

North: Three different model hard hats beginning with their basic model the Peak and the more advanced Matterhorn model which protects form lateral blows, both are caps. Also available is a full brim model hard hat called Everest.
Suspensions (4-point):

Pin-Lock system (Peak & Everest) is the basic system and is similar to a baseball hat.

Quick-Fit system (Matterhorn only) slides into place where teeth with hook on each other to secure the hat to your head. This can be adjusted quickly and slid into place to fit your specific comfort setting.

Ratchet system (Peak & Matterhorn) is the quickest and easiest way to properly fit your hard hat without removing it. A simple twist of the knob and you can loosen or tighten to fit your comfort level.

Colors: White, Yellow, Orange, Dark Green, Hi-Viz Red, Sky Blue, Navy Blue, Grey, Red, Army Green, Hot Pink, Black, Light Blue, Tan, Royal Blue, and Burgundy.

Q: Are there minimum quantities required per order?
A:

Custom MSA V-Gard hard hats, minimum order of 20 hats.

Custom Pyramex hard hats, minimum order of 48 hats.

Custom Fibre-Metal hard hats, minimum order of 40 (cap) hats and 32 (full brim) hats.

Custom North hard hats, Peak minimum order of 40 hats, Everest and Matterhorn hard hats minimum of 24 hats.

Additional hats sold per case. Number of hats per case vary. See individual hat for details.

Q: What is the maximum print area on a hard hat?
A: All the brands and their print areas are broken down into Location, Width, and Height.

Q: What artwork do we accept and not accept?
A: We need a high-res vector file (no jpeg, tiff or gif files) to print a custom hard hat. An image 4-5 inches wide will be sufficient for our printer to enlarge for a hard hat.
Here's our general file specs, which is in the order of preference:

Original source file of in Illustrator 11(CS), CorelDraw 11 (No Word or Powerpoint Files can be accepted).

Editable EPS file of this logo/art (Illustrator, CorelDraw), with typeface/fonts converted to outlines.

All fonts need to be outlined or you must supply the font.

In addition, do you know the following:

Specific colors (Pantone (PMS), etc.) or "we want a red like... on a can of Coke." Something tangible that we can match.

Specific font/typeface (times, helvetica, futura, etc.).

If you do not have the proper file format, we have artwork services available at, Artwork design services

Q: How soon will I receive my custom hard hat order?
A: Production time for your custom hard hats will all depend on the brand, artwork and quantity ordered. If you need goods quickly or by a specific date order online or by phone with a credit card and specify next day or 2 day air. The general shipping time varies between the different companies.

Custom North and Fibre-Metal hard hats generally take 5 - 7 weeks from receipt of final approval proof.

Custom MSA hard hats generally take 3 - 4 weeks from receipt of final approval proof.

Custom Pyramex hard hats generally take 4 - 6 weeks from receipt of final approval proof.

Q: How can I pay for my custom hard hats?
A: Once placed and approved, Custom Hard Hat orders are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE! Please double check your order when placed for brand, model, color and placement of logo to speed up the process.
Payment Options
Full payment is required prior to processing a custom order. You may mail us a check or money order; call us with your credit card information or place your order online. For more than one logo placement we recommend placing you order by phone; placing your order online may not include all of your cost due to logo placements, artwork, shipping, etc.

Q: What if I re-order more custom hard hats?
A: If you are re-ordering custom hard hats with the same logo/same placement as your prior order then the setup fee will be waved because the template of your logo(s) stamp has already been made. You will incur the usual cost of the hard hats and the imprinting fee for each logo and location.
