Interruption of Service: Online stores, USPS and UPS shall not be liable for any interruption of service due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority; acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities; insufficient information provided by a customer; the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks and natural disasters.
Economy shipping takes 3-8 business days and is not guaranteed.

Expedited Shipping Information
(Effective 03/09/2007) Deadline for orders requiring UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Select delivery is 2:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) for items in stock. Expedited Orders placed after 2:00 PM will ship by the end of the next business day for items in stock. UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day Select orders placed on a Friday after 2:00 PM EST will ship the following Monday.
Shipping costs are calculated at time of checkout by our shopping cart, based on the weight of your order and the method of shipment.
We ship to all US States, US Territories, Canada & Internationally.

Transit time
Please note our boots are shipped directly to our customers from our manufactures across the United States; because of this please allow 5-7 business days for delivery.
Shipments are made by UPS, FedEx or mail from our warehouse in Pittsburgh PA. The below diagram show the typical transit time by UPS. Days are business days from when we ship your order, and do not include weekend or holidays like Thanksgiving. Please add 1 - 2 working days from when you place your orders for us to process, package and ship it.
We ship most orders via United Parcel Service unless otherwise requested. Very light orders less than 2 lbs may be shipped by mail. Packages being shipped USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail can take up to three weeks for delivery.
We strive to ship within two business days. Sometimes a delay will occur if we are out of stock. Some items do list alternate shipping times on their specific web pages. Expedited orders only will be notified of any delays.
UPS does not deliver on the weekends unless you order special Saturday delivery at extra cost. Please contact us to arrange this.

Which Shipping Option is best?
Economy – This method is best if you are not in a rush. Economy shipping will work for USPS PO Boxes, APO and FPO addresses, and standard shipping to Canada. This will include shipping methods of UPS & FedEx Ground & USPS.
3 Day - Takes 3 days for delivery and costs more than Economy. This option is good if you are on the west coast and need your order within 3 days. 3 Day shipping is available to US only and cannot be used for APO or FPO addresses. Express to Canada will only work with the 3 Day option.
2 Day – Takes 2 days for delivery and costs much more than Economy. Orders shipped via this method arrive by the end of the second business day after shipping. 2 Day shipping is available to US only and cannot be used for APO or FPO addresses.
Next Day – Next Day shipping offers guaranteed overnight delivery for day-definite shipments. Next Day shipping is available to US only and cannot be used for APO or FPO addresses.
Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska can now be shipped by UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or US mail. UPS and FedEx ground services are normally cheaper unless the item is very light. For APO and FPO addresses please select the US Mail shipping option, as this is the only option available. In some cases our shipping calculator may underestimate the actual shipping costs if the package is oversized. In this case we will notify you of any additional charges before shipping. You may cancel your order at this point without penalty.
USPS and Oversized Packages
Due to the new USPS rate changes, we reserve the right to ship any oversized package using UPS or FedEx to prevent additional shipping charges to our customers. Any package over one cubic foot (12x12x12 ft.) is considered oversized.

International Shipping
DiscountSafetyGear.com has partnered with a trusted third-party company, International Checkout, to fulfill orders for our International customers.
Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International Checkout" option to complete your order. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout for processing.
You may pay by International credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. International Checkout will process your order, including billing, shipping and customer service.

Online Stores Inc is registered as a non resident Canadian Taxpayer. We collect both Provincial Sales Tax ( PST ) and Goods & Service Tax ( GST ) when you place an order. The goods arrive tax paid which means you do not get any additional charges or fees when you receive your merchandise.

Economy – The best and most inexpensive method for shipping to Canada. Economy can shipping to Canada can take approximately 2 weeks. Canada orders can take up to 3 weeks to receive as they only ship from our warehouse on Wednesday.
3 Day – This method is an expedited shipping method available for shipping to Canada.
