Why Wear a Mask?

As things begin to open back up, cases in the United States have been growing rapidly. In order to slow the spread of Covid-19 you must take preventative measures! In the graph above, you can see that without protective measures put into place our health care system will be overwhelmed. When we do take protective measures, we can give our hospitals a chance to help those infected with the virus more effectively.

What preventative measures can you take for coronavirus? The most important thing you can do as an individual is to wash your hands with soap and to wear a mask. Wearing a mask will cover your nose and mouth when sneezing. Wearing a mask will also prevent you from touching your face. Other protective measures like social distancing and disposing of 1 time use personal protective equipment, will also aid in protection.
