So so
I have been welding for 12+years now and have come across a magnitude of helmets. I have the worst luck with them and it’s not because I’m doing anything wrong. I take care of my equipment, because my equipment has made me a living so I’m not reckless with it at all. I finally got fed up with expensive and extravagant gear, I decided to step down because the ad filter for my miller hood cost more to replace than a brand new complete unit. My family has always used fibre metal pipe liners and tiger hoods since they come out, grandfather, great uncles, father, uncles and now me. My first pipeliner hood and the finish is absolutely horrible there’s like sandblast media under the paint there isn’t s straight line on the hood or s square edge anywhere. It honestly looks like someone profiled the thing with a butter knife. I am going to paint it anyways and it gets the job done that’s all that matters anyways I give it 3 stars and that’s what I feel is right.
